Here are our upcoming events in a nutshell.

• Mon 20.9.  Newbies’ night @ Student village (VY’s party room, Inspehtorinkatu 4) at 19.
• Sat 2.10. Baywatch drinking game at Turku Seta’s office (Rauhankatu 1 C B 22). More info TBA.
  
• Sat 20.11. Homoglobiini’s 20th Anniversary Ball. More info later.

What would be a better way to enjoy a sunny summer day than having a nice picnic in a good company? That is precisely what we’re going to do in HG’s June meeting.

We’re meeting on Thursday (note the day!), June 10th at Turku Seta’s office (Rauhankatu 1 cB 22) at 18 and continue to the park from there. HG offers something to eat and some non-spiked drinks, but everyone can take their own food and drinks with then too. If it turns out that the weather is not that sunny or if it even rains, we can spend the evening in some bar nearby.

The first meeting in May will be held in restaurant Kerttu (Läntinen pitkäkatu 35). There is a possibility to eat.

In the last meeting this spring we’ll be BBQing (if the weather permits). More info at a later date.

Here’s some info for you in a nutshell about Homoglobiini’s events in March. Don’t forget to read your email as we are going to inform of each individual event later via mailing list.

• 1.3. Bar evening at Suxes (Yliopistonkatu 9) at 7 pm. The board has a meeting before the evening at 5 pm at Edison which is located in the corner of Linnankatu and Kauppiaskatu streets.
  
• 15.3. Glow in the dark minigolf or bowling at Kiitorata (Yliopistonkatu 29) at 7 pm.
  
• 18.3. A sitz party with a theme “Lovely” or “Wonderful” or “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” or anything as gay and pink at Osis (a student-owned club in the Turku University’s campus area). As our company in this party are going to be the italian language students of Turku University (Pappagallo ry) and humanities students of Åbo Akademi (Humanistiska Föreningen).

In addition to these, we also have lunch meetings at student restaurant Tottisalmi (Kirkkotie 13) on fridays if so announced. We meet at the second floor at the entrance to the restaurant. So follow your email! We will inform of the lunches on members mailing list.

Come to Megazone in Julia (Eerikinkatu 4) on Monday 19 April for a laser war! In this game you don’t need to know how to shoot or even how to aim. Merely the lurking in the shadows from hide to hide is enough for an adrenaline spike. We meet by Julia’s front doors inside at 18:30. Game price only 2,5 euros!!! After match in Bremer from 19.45 ->

Setas Disco and Turun Mummolaakso presents a joint Retro party in Kåren, two different stages. Starting at 20.00 in the small room, DJ Sanna plays finnish classics and humppa. 22.00 opens the disco side with DJ Josba.

Note:  The place closes at 2.00 so last orders mark is at 1.30 (!) so come early!!

To be watched is all four Alien movies. We’ll start watching at 2 pm @ the TuSETA office (Rauhankatu 1cB 22). Bring your own foods/drinks).
